"Re-engagement" A bot to attempt to reengage slack users who have become inactive

Re-engagement Requirements Detect when Slack users become inactive Send them a bot message to reengage them somehow (automatically link a thread with lots of activity, the code for finding such a thread already exists) If they don’t engage from the bot message after X time, let’s try engaging them via email. What should be in the email? Idk. Maintain a dynamo table of users and their activity for reporting After some time, if they don’t engage via email or slack, send message that the account is being marked as inactive and will be reviewed for deletion. Extra credit: Right now, every time someone joins the Slack, I manually personally message them, welcome them, and ask them how they found out about us. Can we automate that to come from my account? I only know how to do it from a bot.
